Time grows short even as the days grow longer. We're in the midst of trying to get everything sorted, discarded, recycled, donated, shredded and cleaned up. We've only got a couple of months to finish and it doesn't feel nearly long enough.
The time for panic is soon upon us, but we're trying to avoid that as much as possible.
It is apparent that we should have purchased the Enterprise instead of a motor home, based on all that we think we'll need. Of course, the biggest problems are "might needs" and "like to haves". Those things simply won't fit. I'm not sure all the "needs" will fit!
Already our travel plans have changed due to the time we need to spend in South Dakota, where we think we intend to domicile. We will need to spend at least 30 days within the cozy confines of South Dakota in order to accomplish all we need/want to get done. We think we probably will have to miss the Winnebago Grand National Rally again this year. Good thing they have the GNR every year.
But Paige, Robin, LeAnn, Marcia, Lynn and the family reunion in Indiana are still on the plan. Lucky them. We'll still arrive in Arizona about mid-November and stay a while in Tucson. I personally would love to spend March up in Peoria, attending the Mariner's Spring Training games, and maybe even tailgating a few times. I hear those stadiums have great tailgating accommodations.
So if you don't hear from us for a while, it's because we're busy trying to clear out 25 years of residence and 44 years of accumulation. But right now, the adventure is scheduled to begin in early June. This is of course, subject to delay and depends quite a bit on Jason and Lauren's needs.

It's about time! You have been ignoring the elephant in the room for months now. Trying to hold off panic? Should have started sooner. Now all you have left is panic mode.
South Dakota domicile, why? I thought Texas was the best deal.
Visiting Indiana, but no word of visiting your aged Muzz in Illinois. That says a lot.
Texas? Alot of RV'ers go there or to Florida. South Dakota is closer, however. And it has the added benefit of NOT being either Texas OR Florida.
As far as the panic, we did start this long ago. It's just that time passes too quickly and many other things are going on in our lives.
What? Who said I wasn't visiting IL?
South Dakota is closer to what? The place where you'll end up? I'd be willing to bet not.
As for you visiting Illinois, you only mentioned going to Indiana.
I surely do not know why your ball club does its spring training in the heart of old folks country. Perhaps it's because the old folks are the only ones who care about baseball. It's a nice slow game that they can keep up with, even if they doze off for a few innings.
South Dakota is closer to HERE.
It's either train in Cactus League or Grapefruit League. And there are more teams in the Cactus League right now, and the weather's better. Lots of young people love baseball!
The cactus league makes sense, but the young people who like baseball are 12 and under.
